Comments on DVD

In Autumn 2006, a number of colleagues and I facilitated "Autism Awareness" training days in Salford. Your DVD has been shown at all three of the training days. Participants have regarded it as by far the most useful aspect of the training overall.
Mark Horrocks, Clinical Psychologist, Salford

We visited a Jewish School in Russia. They are considering including children with disabilities and wanted advice. We left the DVD you sent to me and they are going to show it to teachers and pupils.
Lynne Elwell, Partners in Policymaking

I'd like to recommend it to staff groups, volunteers, parents, carers and anyone who comes into contact in any way with young people with Autism. The reaction from people I have shared the DVD with has been remarkable and surprisingly emotional. One person described the experience as "better than any course you could ever go on." This confirms my feelings that there is no substitute for real experiences told in a very straightforward, direct way by a real person and the DVD fulfills this in every way.
Liz Lowry, Social Worker, Childrens Services Directorate

You have already taught me a lot about Autism, and you really should communicate with as many other people as possible, because so many people do not understand. Many of the pupils I work with have Autism, with other disabilities as well and I often think about what I have learned from you, Josh, and it helps me in my work.

Thank you so much for the brilliant DVD. It's really good and explains things well. What a long way we have to go to educate all society. I wish this could be shown to everyone.  I feel honoured to have  a place in your life, and on your DVD.
